Three famous restaurants
Sunny Café
Sunny Café is near the market. It opens every day from 11 in the morning to 8 at night. You can see the flower shop from here. They have quick, tasty food like salads and sandwiches. They don't have sweet food. You can sit and eat quickly. You don't need to book. There's no place for cars, but it's easy to get there by bus or bike. The price is quite cheap for students or office workers.
Pasta Corner
Pasta Corner is a small Italian restaurant. It's open from Tuesday to Sunday, from midday until 9 in the evening. You should call to book a table before you go. It's quiet there, away from the busy roads. You can park your car or motorbike for free. The restaurant is famous for its pizza. They make pizza in a special oven. It takes a little time to prepare your food, but you can eat a small starter like bread with tomato while you wait. There is always a pianist to play songs. They have ice cream or strawberries for dessert. The food is good but expensive.
The Food Hub
The Food Hub is for people who get up early. It opens at 6:30 in the morning. If you buy coffee before 8:30 on Tuesdays, you get a free small cake. At 11 a.m, they start selling egg plates and sweet pancakes. All food is fresh so you might wait a bit. They make very good orange juice. It is open only on weekdays and closes at 10 at night. You don't need to book. You can park your car or bike next to it. It costs a little money to park.

My friend's brother, Alex started a journey to cycle across the world when he was just 15 years old. Some people didn't think he could do it because of his age, but he didn't give up. At 18, he finished his trip, and became the youngest person to do such a worldwide bike ride alone.
Alex was born in Canada in 1996. His parents loved to travel on bikes. They lived in different places before settling in France. Therefore, Alex soon loved cycling like his parents. At 13, Alex saved money and bought his first own bike. He rode it all around France and nearby countries with his parents for the first time. A trip to Spain made him dream of biking around the world alone.
In 2011, Alex started to his world bike trip. Even though he was young and some didn't believe in him, he kept going. It was a journey full of beautiful landscapes, cultures, and difficulties. But Alex showed everyone, and himself that age was just a number. Dreams could come true if we try for it. He finished his big ride in December 2018.
Today, Alex's love for cycling hasn't changed. He lives in a lovely coastal town in Canada with his wife, Sophie. They share a love for bikes, adventure, and the open road. Many people start their journey when they hear his story.

Ice cream
Fifty years ago, people only ice cream in the hot summer months - but now is eaten at any time of the year.
