Three great museums for young people to visit

Silverhill Museum

This museum is perfect for people who love old cars and buses. Inside, visitors can sit in a special seat and try driving a fast sports car on a screen. It is very easy to get there because the main railway station is just a short walk away. Tickets are usually ten pounds, but they are much cheaper on Mondays. If you get hungry, there is a lovely garden where families can sit and enjoy their own sandwiches.

Westgate Centre

This interesting building shows how people lived hundreds of years ago. In the main hall, visitors are allowed to put on beautiful old hats and dresses to take photos. You cannot park your car here, so you should catch a bus from the town centre or take a taxi. Everyone has to pay eight pounds to enter, but university and school learners don't need a ticket. After exploring, you can buy delicious hot meals at the café on the roof.

The Newton Building

If you want to learn about the stars and planets, you should visit this amazing science museum. The best part is talking with a clever machine that can answer your questions in English. It costs five pounds for everyone, and there is a huge area outside where you can leave your car for free. Please remember that you cannot bring snacks or drinks into the museum. Liam’s Video Channel: Cycling Adventures

Everyone in my family loves spending time outside, and for me, cycling is the best! It is sometimes difficult to find the right person to ride with, though. My older sister loves cycling, but she is always busy with her university studies. My granddad enjoys it too, but he likes to ride very slowly. So, my favourite cycling partner is my classmate, Leo. We ride our bikes almost every weekend, and it is brilliant!

We cannot go cycling when it is icy or snowing. On those cold days, I still want to keep fit, so I play table tennis with my dad, or I do a karate class. But my favourite thing to do when I cannot go out is editing the videos of my cycling trips! I started my internet channel because I wanted to show the beautiful places I visit, how I feel on long rides, and the clothes I wear for winter riding. Now, I have lots of followers who leave helpful comments! Some people even bought a bicycle after watching my videos, which is amazing!

Of course, not all my school friends are interested in cycling, so I never ask them to come on long rides with me, but they always watch my videos and ask questions about my adventures, which is really nice.

I would like to improve my cycling so I can enter more races. I have finished some short local races, but I have never won anything – and that is fine! I would really like to try a 50-kilometre race next year. Everyone says it is a very difficult ride – but we will see!

  • His sister
  • His classmate

What does Liam like doing most when the weather is bad?

  • Playing table tennis

  • To make his followers buy new bikes

  • They are interested in hearing about his trips.
  • They want to learn how to make videos too.

  • How a boy became a famous video maker
  • What a boy does to win cycling competitions

Dolphins

Dolphins are very clever animals that live in oceans all over the world. They often follow boats and high into the air. Although they live in the ocean, they must swim up to get air. Because of this, these sea animals can never sleep completely like humans. Instead, half of their brain rests while the other half helps them swim and for dangerous sharks.

Dolphins are friendly animals that usually live and travel in large family . Hunting together in the deep sea makes it very for them to catch small fish. In some countries, dolphins even fish towards people who are fishing with nets. In return, the fishermen are happy to some of the fresh fish with their clever animal friends.
