Lucy Goes Shopping

It was Saturday afternoon. Mum was making a salad for dinner in the kitchen. She called Lucy and said, "Can you go to the shop for me? I need some apples and honey, please."

Lucy was watching a science programme on TV. "Yes, Mum," she said, but she wasn't listening carefully. She quickly put on her trainers and went to the shop.

At the shop, Lucy looked at everything. She tried to remember what Mum wanted. "Something with apples... and honey," she thought. So she bought a bottle of apple juice and a bottle of honey. Then she whistled a fun tune and walked home.

When Lucy got home, Mum opened the shopping bag. She started to laugh! "Oh Lucy! You bought apple juice! I needed apples for the salad, not juice!"

Lucy felt terrible. "Oh no! I'm so sorry, Mum!" She quickly ran back to the shop.

At the shop, the man said, "I'm sorry. You can't change the juice, and you need money to buy these apples."

Lucy was sad, but she bought the apples with her money. Then she walked home with both bags.

"I'm sorry, Mum," Lucy said when she got home. "Next time, I will listen more carefully. I should ask you again to make sure!"

"That's a very good idea," Mum said with a smile.

Last week, our group went on an exciting trip to the new center. The center was newer 21.1 our old local museum. Inside, there 21.2 lots of interesting screens, rocket models, and games which taught us about science.

I really liked the robots in the center. We saw different types 21.3 robots - some robots can clean the house, some can make people stronger, and some can 21.4 broken things. 

At the end, we visited a shop and bought some wonderful model rockets. It was 21.5 wonderful trip, and we all hope to visit the center again soon!
