In the Library

Lucy loves reading. Every Saturday, she goes to the library with her friends Tom and Emma. They always look for new books together.

One Saturday, Lucy found an old letter inside a science magazine. It said: "Find the secret in the library."

"This is exciting!" said Lucy. "Let's find the secret!"

"Yes! Let's go!" said Tom and Emma.

The letter had some parts. The first part told them to go to the history shelves. They looked behind the old books carefully, and Emma found a small silver key. They felt so excited.

The next part of the letter took them upstairs to the computer room. Behind a big map on the wall, there was an old brown door.

Lucy used the key, and the door opened slowly.

Inside, there was a beautiful, quiet room. It had old paintings on the walls, soft chairs, and round tables. It was tidy but a little dirty.

Mrs. White heard the students and came upstairs.

"Oh my!" she said. "This was our special art room fifteen years ago! People met here to read and talk about art, but everyone forgot about it." she explained.

Mrs. White was very happy that the children found the room. She cleaned it and opened it again for everyone.

Now Lucy, Tom, and Emma meet there every Saturday. They read books, draw pictures, and talk about stories.
