Mark (0) entered a competition at school. He had two hours to make pizza and vegetable soup. The big kitchen looked scary at first, but Mark felt .

He used flour from the shelf, put in water and sugar, and made it round and thin. Then he cut tomatoes and olives, and put them on the pizza with tomato sauce and cheese. He carefully put the pizza into the hot oven.

Soon, there was a wonderful in the kitchen as all the students were cooking. Mark started making his soup with small pieces of carrots, potatoes, and onions.

After twenty minutes, Mark ate a little soup. “There is salt and pepper, but it needs something else,” he thought. He added two spoons of honey. “Now it’s excellent!”

But suddenly, his pizza began to ! Mark quickly took it out, but the bottom was horrible.

“Don’t worry, Mark,” said a teacher. “Your soup smells amazing!”

In the end, the teachers really enjoyed Mark’s soup. His pizza burned, but he got a prize!

School Clubs

School clubs (0) are groups where students can do fun things school finishes. There are many of clubs - sports clubs, art clubs, music clubs, chess clubs, and science clubs. Students can to join their favorite clubs.

a club is a great way to learn new things. In a sports club, students can play football or volleyball. In an art club, can draw, paint, or make things like models and cards. Music clubs are also popular - students can learn to instruments or sing in a band.

Clubs are also good making new friends. Students other children who like the same things. They work together, play together, and help each other. This makes school   interesting. Some students are at first, but clubs help them feel better. At the end of the school year, many clubs have a special event where they show what they have learned.

The Camping Trip

On Saturday morning, Sarah, Ben, Mum, and Dad drove to the countryside to go camping. They found a quiet field and put up their small blue tent. Everyone was happy and excited. But soon, the sky became dark with big grey clouds. Rain started to fall, and the wind blew very hard. The family was scared and looked for a safe place to stay.

Near the field, they saw a small farm. They ran there quickly and knocked on the door. An old husband and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Green, opened it. They were kind. “Please stay here for a few days,” said Mrs. Green. The family smiled and thanked them. That night, they slept in the living room and listened to the rain on the roof.

The next day, the rain stopped. The family helped with the farm work. Sarah and Ben picked up eggs in the chicken house, and Mum took vegetables from the garden. Dad helped Mr. Green fix the gate. Everyone worked and laughed together.

When the family left, Mr. and Mrs. Green gave them a basket full of eggs and vegetables. Sarah and Ben were quite sad. They waved goodbye and said, “We want to visit you again one day!”
