David's Snowboarding Adventure

It was Saturday morning, and David arrived at Snow Mountain with his family. He was very excited because today he would try snowboarding for the first time! The sky was blue, and white snow was everywhere. David put on his helmet and warm jacket, then stepped onto his new snowboard.

"Are you ready?" asked his teacher, Miss Brown. She showed David how to stand and move carefully. "Don't worry if you fall. Everyone falls when they learn," she said with a smile.

David tried to go down the small hill, but after only two seconds, he fell! He got up and tried again. He fell five more times. His legs felt tired, and snow went into his gloves. "Perhaps snowboarding is too difficult," David thought.

Miss Brown came over. "You're doing great! Each time you fall, you learn something new. Just keep trying!" David felt better and decided to try one more time.

This time, David stood carefully on his board. He went slowly down the hill without falling! "I'm doing it!" he shouted. But at the bottom, he couldn't stop and then fell. Snow went over his face, his jacket, and his helmet!

His family and Miss Brown ran over. They thought he hurt some parts of his body, but David sat up and laughed. "I look like a snowman!" he said. He had fun and learned that even when things are difficult, practice makes them fun!
