The Secret Garden Adventure

My name is Frank. Last Saturday, I went to the park with my friends Katy and Robert. It was a sunny day, so we brought sandwiches, fruit, and drinks for a small picnic. First, we played on the swings in the playground and played chess. After that, we sat under a big tree and had our lunch. The food tasted wonderful because we were very hungry.

When we finished eating, Robert said, “What should we do now?” Katy thought for a moment and said, “Let’s explore the park!” We all liked the idea, so we began to walk around. Suddenly, Katy pointed to some tall trees. “Look! There is a small path behind the trees!” she said. We went inside carefully.

At first, I felt a little scared because it was dark and quiet. “I think we should go back,” Robert whispered. But Katy smiled and showed us a red flashlight from her bag. “Don’t worry, we can see now,” she said. We walked slowly and then saw an old gate. Behind it, there was a beautiful secret garden with flowers, butterflies, and a small pond.

“I can’t believe this place is true!” I said. We were very excited. “Let’s tell our parents," Katy said. We all agreed this was the best adventure ever.
