(0) Would you like to travel to space? Being an astronaut is a wonderful job, but it is very difficult. In the , only men could go to space. Now, things changed. Both men and women can be astronauts if they study and work hard.

To be an astronaut, you must a strong body. This is important because being in space is very different from being Earth. You also need to be very at science and maths. That's why many astronauts study subjects at university.

Emma Finds Her Hobby

Emma wanted to find a hobby. Her friend Lucy played chess, so Emma decided to try it too.

On Monday, Emma's grandfather taught her how to play chess. He showed her the pieces. "This is the king, and this is the queen," he said. Emma played for two days, but she thought it was too boring. "Chess is too slow for me," she said.

On Wednesday, Emma tried badminton with her brother, Tom. It was fun at first, but after three days, Emma got tired. "Badminton is too tiring," she said.

On Saturday, Emma's mother gave her some crayons and paper. "How about drawing?" she asked. Emma drew pictures of flowers and animals. But after a few days, she felt bored again. "Drawing is not for me," she said sadly.

On Tuesday, Emma went to the library with her father. She saw many interesting books on the shelves. Emma took a book about space and started reading. She loved it! She read another book about animals, then another about the ocean.

"I found my hobby!" Emma told her parents. "I love reading books!"

From that day, Emma went to the library every week. She was never bored again because there were always new books to read.
