Who's Afraid of Roller Coasters?

Tom's sister, Lucy, was on holiday, and she sent him an email from every place she visited. The first email came from a beautiful beach. After that, Lucy traveled to a tall mountain, and she sent an email with a photo. Next to the photo, she wrote, 'I climbed to the top!'

Lucy's last email showed a picture of a roller coaster. It looked fast and exciting. 'I'd like to ride that, too,' thought Tom.

At the weekend, Tom went to the funfair with his friend, Alex. Tom remembered Lucy's photo. 'Let's go on the roller coaster!' said Tom.

'No way!' said Alex. 'It is too scary for me.'

But when they walked closer to the roller coaster, Tom saw that it wasn't moving too fast. 'I'm going to do it!' he said. Tom sat in the first seat and felt ready. Alex stayed on the ground and took a video with his phone. 'You can show this video to Lucy!' Alex smiled.

A week later, Lucy came home from her holiday. Tom was excited to show her the video. 'Look at me on the roller coaster!' he said. 'Did you enjoy riding it, too?'

Lucy's face turned red. 'Actually... I was too afraid to go on it,' she answered.

'What? You didn't ride it?' Tom couldn't believe it. 'But you sent me a photo!'

'I know,' Lucy laughed. 'I only took a photo of the roller coaster. I didn't actually get on it!'

The Dinosaur

My teacher told us about dinosaurs today. Dinosaurs were big creatures which lived long, long ago. Some were very frightening! They had big teeth and made loud sounds. They were wild animals. They walked in forests or flew in the sky. They 21.1 leaves or other animals.
