Dear Betty,

Last week our school had a special art competition and I won a prize! I am so happy because it is the first time I  been the winner. We had to draw a picture of a funny monster. There were lots children in the competition, and our teacher put all our drawings on a big wall in the classroom. The teacher said my drawing was the interesting of all, so I got the first prize! My father told me I could choose a new toy, but I do not know one I want! I love to make art from the day my sister bought a beautiful box of coloured pencils for my 6th birthday.

Best wishes,

Hugo.
