The sports day surprise
Harry was very excited because it was the school sports day. He really wanted to win the running race this year. For a whole month, Harry practised every evening in the park. His older sister, Katy, went with him and used her watch to time his running. 'You are getting much faster,' Katy told him. 'I think you can win the first prize!'
But on the morning of the sports day, there was a big problem. Harry looked in his backpack and couldn't find his special red trainers. He left them on the balcony! 'I can't run in these heavy school shoes,' Harry said. 'My feet will hurt.' He was very worried and almost started to cry.
