Soon, Mr. Brown, the teacher, walked into the to look at all the animals. When he stood next to Jack's desk, a flew through the open window. It flew around and stopped right on Mr. Brown's nose! Suddenly, Spike opened his eyes. He jumped up and quickly it.

Frogs
Frogs are interesting animals that live in many different places (0) in the world. When they are babies, they live under the water, but when they get , they grow four legs and learn to jump.
Many people think that frogs are green, but that is not true! You can find yellow, red, or even blue ones in the jungle. When a frog is hungry, it sits quietly in a big leaf and waits insects. Then, it uses its very long tongue a fly or a spider quickly.
Here is very interesting about frogs. Most animals drink water by their mouths, just like we do. But a frog is thirsty, it just sits in a pool of water. The water into their bodies from their thin skin!
Because of this special skin, a frog always stay wet to live happily. When you see frogs in your garden, do not hold them in your hot hands. Your hands can make them ill! These little animals are very good hiding, so you have to look carefully if you want to see one!

Peter's bad day in the park
Last week, Peter was riding his bike in the park with his friends when he suddenly fell off. 'Ouch! My leg really hurts!' he shouted loudly. One of his friends quickly called an ambulance, and it took Peter straight to the city hospital.
When they arrived, a friendly doctor looked at Peter carefully. 'I am very sorry, but your leg is broken,' the doctor explained. 'You must stay in the hospital for a few days to rest.' Peter felt very bored in his hospital bed because he couldn't play video games there. But he soon felt much better because his classmates came to visit him every afternoon. They brought him a big puzzle and lots of funny comic books to read.
On Friday morning, the doctor looked at Peter's leg again and smiled. 'Your leg is getting much better. You can go home today, but you must not go swimming,' he said. Peter felt quite sad about that because summer was coming and he really loved the pool.
That evening at home, his parents wanted to make him feel happy again. His mother cooked some chicken and chips, which was Peter's favourite meal. His father bought a brilliant new board game for the family to play together in the living room. Peter laughed loudly and thought, 'Staying at home is actually great!'
After Peter fell off his bike, one of his friends called for him.
