Last month, Harry's school had a special art competition. The children had to work in groups and make a picture of an animal. Harry and his best friend, Betty, wanted to paint a scary dinosaur. Their art teacher, Mr. White, gave them a huge piece of paper. The children put it on the floor of the classroom because it was too big for their desks.

'Oh no! There isn't any green paint left,' Betty told Harry. Harry thought for a minute. 'That's okay,' he answered. 'We can mix blue and yellow paint together. I read about that in a book.'

Harry carefully mixed the two colours in a plastic bowl, and soon they had a green colour. They used big brushes to finish their amazing picture. When the painting was dry, Mr. White put it on the wall in the school hall. Everyone loved it.

At the end of the day, the head teacher looked at all the pictures. She pointed to the boys and girls' work, but she smiled the most at the dinosaur. 'This is the winner!' she said. She gave Harry and Betty tickets to the funfair. They were very pleased.
