Last Saturday, Betty and her brother Robert went to the beach with their parents. The weather was bright and sunny. The children wanted to make a big castle with the sand. They worked hard to make high .

"This is a wonderful castle!" Robert said.

But after lunch, something happened. The water came closer. Suddenly, a big hit their castle and broke it. Betty was sad and started to cry.

"Don't worry," their mother said. "Look what the water for us."

On Sunday morning, there were fifteen children in the race. When it started, Betty rode very fast and was at the front. But suddenly, she saw a small tortoise on the path! It was walking very slowly.

Betty didn't want the bicycles to hit the animal. She stopped her bike and carefully carried the tortoise to the grass. Because she stopped, all the other children rode past her. Betty was the last person to finish the race.
