One Saturday morning, Peter was helping his father to clean their basement. They were moving some old boxes when Peter saw a large old blanket in the corner. He pulled it away and found a beautiful train made of wood under it. "Look at this, Dad!" shouted Peter. "It looks very old, and it is very dirty!"

Dad looked very surprised when he saw the train. "I don't believe it!" he said happily. "My grandfather made this a long time ago. He was very clever and made wonderful wooden toys for children in our town. I thought this train was lost!" Peter was very interested to hear about his father's grandfather.

The two of them spent all afternoon cleaning the wooden train until it looked new again. Dad said, "It is too special to stay in this basement."
