David Star visits our school
My name is Alex. My favourite sport is football and my favourite player is David Star. He is a very famous person now, but a long time ago, he studied at our school! Our sports teacher, Mr. Green, knows David and asked him to visit us. He said yes! Last Wednesday, David came to our school. I was very excited that morning and I couldn't wait to see him. All the students went outside to the sports field and sat on the grass.
David walked onto the field and smiled. First, he told us lots of interesting stories about when he was a boy at our school. Then, he talked about his life as a famous football player. After that, he kicked the ball high into the air and ran very fast with it. We all shouted loudly because it was brilliant!
After David left, we went back inside for our afternoon lessons. While I was in my science lesson, Mr. Green came into the classroom. He asked to see me and my best friend, Sam.
