Yesterday afternoon, Peter and Sally wanted to go to the park. But then it started to rain. They couldn’t play outside, so they were .

‘I have an idea!’ said Mum. ‘Let’s go to the new bookshop in the town centre.’ At the bookshop, there were hundreds of books! Peter found a comic book about a pirate and Sally found a funny story about a that lived in the jungle.

The libary

Libraries are good places to go when you want to find books. A library has of books about different things. You can find books about animals, forests and rivers. There are tables and chairs for people to sit. Some libraries have computers too. You must be quiet in the library other people are reading or learning. You can take books home, but you have to them back after two weeks. libraries are open from Monday to Saturday. Libraries are not only towns and cities. Some villages have small libraries too.

Toothache

Peter had a terrible toothache on Tuesday. He couldn't eat his breakfast or his lunch at school. After school, his mum saw that he was sad.
