Dogs

Dogs are animals many people keep as pets. Some dogs are small, and others are big. They can have got short long hair. A baby dog is a puppy. They cannot see or hear for the first few weeks. They sleep a lot and drink milk from mum. Dogs like spending time with people. They are happy when someone talks to them or gives them a toy. Some dogs like swimming, and others enjoy running in the park. They good friends to people and love being part of the family.

A birthday party

It was Sunday afternoon. It was Eva’s eighth birthday. Her mother told her to go and play in the garden. When Eva opened the garden door, all her friends jumped out from behind the trees and the tall flowers.
'HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EVA!' they shouted.
Eva was so surprised and happy. 'Wow! You are all here!' she said. The garden was beautiful. There were lots of balloons and a long table with paper cups and juice. A big poster said, 'Happy 8th Birthday!'
