Last Saturday, Lily went to play at the playground. She saw a new girl there. The girl had hair and wore a pretty blue dress. The girl sat on the grass and read a book. 

Lily wanted to talk to her, but she was afraid. Then she took her basketball and it up and down. When she looked at the girl again, the girl smiled at her.

Lily got now. She walked to the girl.

‘Hello,’ said Lily. ‘My name’s Lily. Do you want to play?’

‘Yes, please!’ said the girl. ‘This is getting really boring. My name is Daisy.’

The two girls started to play basketball. Lily threw the ball and Daisy could it very well. They had a lot of fun.

Watermelons

A watermelon is a kind of fruit. is big, round and red inside. In many places, people grow watermelons in summer they need warm weather. You  can find watermelons on farms, in gardens, and in markets. Watermelons are sweet. Many people them after lunch or dinner. You can make juice from watermelons. You can make ice cream from them too. People can put together watermelons and other fruits like bananas and apples to a fruit salad. Cold watermelons are better and make you cool sunny days.

Last Monday morning, Jack wanted to play with his favourite toy car. It was a small blue car. But he couldn’t find it.
