Last Monday, after school, Jack and his friend Lily went to the park with Jack’s dad. 

First, they saw some grey near the playground. They only hopped up and down. Then, they walked to the lake in the and sat on a big chair. ‘Look!’ said Lily quietly. She pointed at something in the water. It was a family of ducks. A mother duck swam with her babies.

Jack and Lily counted the baby ducks. There were five. Then, a noise came from  a big tree. It was another baby duck. Jack called it Number Six! Number Six was on the grass, and it got lost.

‘We have to it,’ said Jack.

‘Yes, you two can do it,’ Dad said.

Jack and Lily walked to that sad baby duck. Lily carefully picked it up and took it to the lake. The ducks made lots of noises. The children thought, ‘The ducks can sing a song now because they’re happy to see Number Six.’

Coffee is a very famous drink in the world. It got a brown or black colour. Coffee comes from coffee beans grow on plants in hot countries. Many people start their day with coffee. They also drink coffee when they learn or work. Some like it hot, and some like it cold. Some make it at home, and others buy it cafés. Coffee helps people feel more awake and happy. Some people like coffee in the afternoon too. But it is not good to have too coffee. A cup of coffee a day is all right.

Learn to ride a bike

One sunny Saturday, Sam got a new bike for his birthday. It was a beautiful green bike. Sam was very happy, but he was a bit afraid. He didn’t know how to ride it.
