‘I don’t know. It’s a question. Because you were in my painting last month,’ said Clare.

On Tuesday, Clare’s grandma was at their house. Grandma sat in a chair in the garden and read a book. She had beautiful white hair. Clare looked her. ‘I have a(n) !’ she thought.

Clare went to her room. She drew something with a pencil and then painted it different colors. After she the picture,  she ran downstairs. ‘This is for you, Grandma!’ she said.

Grandma was very surprised. Then she started to laugh. ‘Oh, Clare!’ she said. ‘It’s the best picture of me!’

Goats

Goats are smaller than cows, but they are very strong. goats live on farms, but some live in the high mountains. They have got four legs and short tail. Some goats have long hair, and others have short hair. Their hair can be white, brown, or black. People can make warm clothes their hair. Goats give milk that people can drink or use to cheese and butter. A goat's favourite food is green grass, but can also eat flowers and leaves. Goats like high places and can walk easily on rocks. They can even climb trees or walls!

The school music show

It was Friday afternoon. Lily and her friend Daisy were in the school music show. They were both very happy.
Lily would play the piano. She liked playing the piano very much.
Daisy wanted to sing a song because she sang very well.
Before the show, Daisy was very quiet. She stood near the stage and looked a little sad.
