Last Tuesday, after school, Peter went to find his cat, Sam. But he couldn't find her in the living room or in the kitchen.

Snakes

Some live in the water, and some live on the land. You can find snakes in forests and fields. There many different kinds of snakes, and they can be big or small. The biggest snakes are than a car. The smallest snakes are short like a pencil. Snakes eat frogs, mice, or small birds. They catch food with mouths. Snakes are interesting to learn about because they are very different from other animals.

Julia lived in a big, tall building in the city. Her family’s home was on the top floor, and they had a beautiful view of the city. Julia loved living there because she could see everything from the windows.
