Last Sunday, Daisy walked to the park with her mother. She saw a little dog under a tall tree. It looked very because it was hungry and cold. Daisy wanted to help. She had a great . 'Come with me!' she said. She carried the puppy home.

Elephants

Elephants are animals that live in hot places. They have got very long noses, they use them to carry food and water to their mouths. They are not afraid water because they can swim very well. You can see these great animals in big zoos now. People love taking photos of . A Fun Day at the Lake

Last Saturday was a sunny day. Betty and her cousin, Fred, went to the lake with their Aunt Mary. They rode their bikes to a big field next to the water because they wanted to fly Fred’s new kite there. The kite was very big and red. It looked like a bird. “It is very windy today,” Aunt Mary said. “What a great day to fly the kite!” Betty answered. “And I have some cheese sandwiches and fruit in my bag for our picnic later.”
