Bikes

Rainbow the Puppy

Last week, Bill’s grandparents came to his house. They gave him a beautiful puppy. It was black and white. Bill was very happy with his new pet. He called him ‘Rainbow’. Bill’s grandmother told him, ‘Puppies love toys.’ Bill’s grandfather said, ‘Puppies can catch things. You have to teach Rainbow some games, Bill.’

First, Bill taught the puppy to catch a big ball and a small hat. Then he learned to find shoes, coats and socks! Then Rainbow learned more games. On Sunday, Bill’s father opened the back door and asked Bill and his younger sister, Lily, ‘What do you want to play with in the garden?’ Lily shouted, ‘A ball!’ The puppy was there with them and he thought, ‘Oh no!
