Every Saturday evening, my mother cooks a wonderful meal for our family. Last weekend, it was very cold and outside, so we stayed at home. We wanted to watch a funny film and our dinner in the living room. Mum made a big, hot with some rice and carrots. She carried the food into the living room.The small table was too small for all the plates, so we put a big blanket on the and had our food there. Then, our pet dog ran into the room. He jumped up and quickly took some chicken from my dad's plate! The dog hid under the sofa. Dad was very surprised, but after that he loudly. 'You're a funny dog!' he said. Cafés

A café is a great place to visit when you are thirsty or hungry. In many towns or cities, there a lot of different cafés. Families often to these places at the weekend to have a nice drink. Some cafés have big windows, you can look at the cars and people in the street. When friends meet, they love sitting a table and talking about their week. Most people buy a cup of coffee or tea, and sometimes they want to some sweet chocolate cake, too! Children love cafés because they can have cold fruit juice there.

Jill's busy morning

It was a very cloudy morning on Wednesday. Jill got up, had breakfast with her sister, drank the milk and looked at the clock on the wall. Then she put her swimsuit and a big towel in her bag and said 'Goodbye' to her family.
