Yesterday morning, Dad and I cleaned our house. We found a big box under his bed from one of his holidays in the mountains. Inside, there was an old . It was his favourite thing when he was a young boy. We also found some old, black and white . They showed a quiet with lots of snow. It looked very there because everyone had huge coats.Then, at the bottom of the box, I found a small card from a café. Dad smiled. "When we walked in the snow, we were so hungry," he said. "We went to that café and three big bowls of hot noodles!" Dad looked at the card for a long time and smiled again. I think he loved that holiday very much.

About animals

Animals do many different things every day. Some animals can move very quickly. A horse is strong and it can run than a person. There are many beautiful birds that fly in the sky, {{because|or|{@but}} a penguin cannot fly. This black and white bird swims very well the cold sea. Animals do funny things when they sleep, too. Think about a dolphin. It is a clever animal sleeps with one eye open! When dolphins sleep, they swim slowly in the sea with their families. And some fish never their eyes!

Paul's alien friend

My name's May and yesterday was my holiday. I went to the zoo with my dad and my two cousins, Ben and Sam. We went there by bus in the morning. I was very happy because I love animals. Dad took some photos of me when I looked at them. I saw a red parrot and a blue lizard, my favourite colour! But my favourite animal was a panda. It's great. The monkey was too naughty, so I didn't like it.
