Lily and Jack were inside their house all morning because it rained. In the afternoon, the rain stopped and Jack looked out of the window. 'It is a very day, but let's go to the park!' he said. Their mother said, 'Yes, but put on your blue first.' They put some cheese in a big box and walked quickly to the park. While they were playing a game near the lake, Jack heard a strange noise. He to a big rock under a tall tree. 'Look there, Lily! What is that?' he asked. They walked quietly to the rock and found a puppy. It looked very and wet. Lily gave it some food, and the puppy was very happy. 'Can we take it home, Jack?' Lily asked. Jack smiled, took the puppy and they ran back home.

Some different kinds of maps

Today, people do always carry big paper maps in their bags. Many people like at maps on their phones or computers. You can quickly find a map the internet. These maps can show you how to walk to a supermarket or hospital. You can learn something about the weather from a different map, too. Weather maps often have pictures of the sun, clouds, or rain. are very good for farmers and bus drivers. You can use these maps you want to have a picnic with your family. Maps can help us do a lot of different things every day!

Paul's alien friend

Hello. I'm Alex. Last weekend I went to the school playground with Mum and Dad, my younger sister, Lucy and our friend, Sam. We were there to watch a baseball game. Dad drove the car to a street near the school and Mum carried a big handbag. Then we walked inside the playground. We ate ice cream and fruit and drank some milkshakes, and Sam had a cold milk. The music started and a lot of children ran out. It was all very exciting!
