Last Saturday, Fred and his parents went to the town. They needed to buy some things for his sister’s birthday party. Fred wanted to get a great for her. She loves music, so he bought two new .

After the music shop, they went to a café to have some lemonade. Fred put the CDs on the table. Later, when they to their car, Fred stopped and said, 'Oh no! The CDs are on the table in the café! I don't have them!' He wanted to run back. But his mum said, 'Wait, Fred! I put them in my .' Fred happily and said, 'Thank you, Mum!' 

That evening, at the birthday party, Fred gave his sister the new CDs. She was very happy, and everyone enjoyed eating and dancing.

Bats

Many people think bats are birds, they are not. They are very clever and quiet animals! They got arms and hands like people. Bats don't like the sun. In the day, they go to dark places like tall trees to sleep. They always sleep with their heads down! When the night comes, bats wake and fly out. They cannot very well with their eyes, but they have got very big ears to help fly and find food in the dark. A lot of bats catch small flies to eat, but some bats love eating fruit!

My name’s Paul and my classmate is Charlie. Last Sunday, Charlie emailed me and said, ‘Shall we go to the sports centre to play tennis?’ So I said, ‘Yes, please.’ He told me to meet him inside the sports centre and I said, ‘OK.’ I was very happy. I put on my red T-shirt and white shoes. It was a beautiful sunny day, so I rode my new bike there.
