Lily’s New House
My name’s Lily and I live with my Mum and Dad and my older brother, Peter. He's ten. Last week we moved to a new house. Mum said, ‘Our new house is near a beautiful beach.’ My brother was very happy because he loves swimming and playing in the sand. But I didn't want to go because my grandmother lived in the street next to ours. I loved seeing her every day and talking to her.

Last Friday, a big lorry came to our house. Two men carried our things and four bags of my clothes and all my games to the lorry. They dropped my watch. Then there weren't any things in our house. It was very quiet. I cried, but Peter didn't.
