Last Saturday, Daisy was in the living room. She watched a long film on television, but it was not very exciting. Daisy wanted to do something different. She walked upstairs to her bedroom to find some interesting about animals. She didn't want to sit inside, so she carried them out to the . It was a beautiful, morning and the sky was very blue. Whales

Whales are the biggest animals the sea. Many people think they are fish, but they are not. Fish have babies from eggs, whales do not. Baby whales drink milk from their mothers! A whale hasn't got a nose on its face. Its nose is on its head! Sometimes, you can see water going up from this nose. There are many kinds of whales. Some whales have got a lot of big teeth, and they eat meat. But the biggest whales in the world have got teeth. Whales are very clever animals. They sing beautiful songs to their friends and families, but they sing with their mouths like people. They sing from inside their heads and necks! People often cannot hear these songs, but other whales can hear from very far away.

A Different Football Game

Fred and his sister, Mary, live next to a park, and they love running and playing in it. They often play near their house, but last Sunday, they went to a different part of the park. The weather got very windy. Fred put his things down and took off his jacket. Then he sat under a big tree with Mary because they didn't want to play in the wind. ‘This is boring,’ Fred said.
