Helicopters

Helicopters fly the sky like planes, but they are smaller. They have long parts on top that move around very quickly to make them fly. They make a lot of noise! A plane needs a long road to go up, a helicopter can go up and down in a small place. Many people like a helicopter to see a big city. You can sit inside and look down at the tall buildings. The streets, rivers, and cars look very small from the sky. Sometimes, people are in the mountains or on an island are sick, and this is when hospitals use helicopters! A helicopter can fly there quickly. It carries to the hospital so they can see a doctor.

A Different Football Game

In Lily’s city, it rained every year. But this year, the rain was very bad. Lily’s parents stayed at home. They could not go to work or to the supermarket. The sports centre was closed too. Lily’s father had a new motorbike, but he did not ride it because the weather was not good. Lily and her family were at home for many days.
