Lily and her best friend, Tom, went for a long walk in the countryside. First, they stopped to look at some funny white sheep. Then, the children walked to the green there.

Far away, Lily saw a strange brown animal under a tall tree. She was very ! "Is it a dangerous animal?" she asked.

"I don't know," Tom said. "But it isn't moving. Let's go and see."

Lily walked carefully to the tree and looked down. She and picked it up. "It's only an old brown teddy bear!" she said. "Someone dropped it here."

Buses

A bus is a very long and big car. Many people ride buses every day. You can see in towns and cities. Men and women catch buses to go to work, and children go on buses to school. When you want to go on a bus, you must wait a bus stop. A driver drives the bus. When the bus , you walk inside and buy a ticket. Then, you can find a seat and sit down. Sometimes, people are sitting on all the seats, you have to stand! Buses are great because many people can travel in one bus. It always a fun ride!

The Best Birthday

It was Zoe's birthday last Saturday. When Zoe woke up, she was very happy. She washed her face quickly and went outside. "Look! There's a snail on that leaf!" her sister shouted and Zoe looked at the tree. But there's nothing. "Tadaaa!" Sister gave Zoe a beautiful blue kite. Then Zoe went into the garden and saw a big present under a tree. It was from her grandparents. "Wow!" said Zoe. It was a new skateboard. "Thank you!" she wrote a message for her grandparents. "It's my favorite skateboard." For lunch, her dad made Zoe nice pasta with meatballs.
