Libraries
A big town always has got a library, and many small villages have got one, too. People go to this building they want to find different stories or learn about the world. You can sit in a chair and read, but you must quiet. Inside, you can see big bookcases with books animals like crocodiles, or sports like badminton. Some libraries have got computers too. You can look at a website your homework. Children love visiting the library after school. It is exciting to choose nice books and take them home in a bag, but you have to bring them back after two weeks.
Look at the pictures and read the story. Write some words to complete the sentences about the story. You can use 1, 2 or 3 words.
A Day at the Market
Jim and his Grandmother live in the countryside. Last Saturday, they went to a big market. They were very happy. First, they walked to a shop. Grandmother wanted a new teddy bear. She found a beautiful one there. Jim bought a yellow star, too. Then they had lunch in a café.
