Yesterday after school, Paul brought a great book home from the town library. It was a story about a strong and clever pirate.
Paul ran into the kitchen and his mother about it. "I want to be a pirate today!" he said.
His mother smiled and to a big old box on the floor. "There are lots of old clothes in there," she answered.
Paul put on a big white shirt. But he didn't have a toy parrot. He found a long green in the box and put it on his hand to make a bird. Then, he used some black to draw a big beard on his face.

The circus
A circus is an exciting place where families like going the weekend. The circus is often inside a very big tent. People buy a ticket, find a seat, and wait for the show to start. There are lots of funny clowns at the circus. They wear big shoes and very big clothes. They paint faces with many different colours. Clowns do funny things, everyone laughs a lot. You can see clever animals, too. Some little dogs can dance and jump. Men and women beautiful horses around the tent. Children always love these animals. Going to the circus is great!

The Lost Hat
Jim, Lily and their parents go to the beach to see their cousins in the holidays. They often go by airplane. But last week they went by bus. It was a really long trip, but it wasn't boring because Lily liked playing games on the phone and Jim enjoyed singing songs with people on the bus. He wore his favourite bear hat, Pat, too.
