The Scary Noise

Last Saturday, Peter went to look for shells with his Aunt Julia. He had to wake up at six o'clock in the morning, and his aunt picked him up outside his house at seven. The roads weren't busy, so they quickly came to a beautiful beach at the bottom of a mountain. "How about looking for shells here?" Aunt Julia asked. "It's OK with me," Peter said. So, they took two towels from the car and sat down next to the water. It was very quiet.

They waited and waited, but they didn't find any shells. "This is boring!" said Peter, "Where are all the shells?" Aunt Julia didn't answer because she was asleep! Then, a very loud noise came from a plant. Peter didn't know what it was, and he wanted to run back to the car. It happened again and again. "Aunt Julia, wake up! There's a big animal inside the plant!" he shouted.
