Last Sunday, Sally and her best friend Jane wanted to go to the big city zoo. They rode their bikes there because the weather was nice.

When they got there, they went to see the funny monkeys first. The monkeys lived in a big place with lots of tall green inside.

Sally and Jane sat on a seat near the monkeys and their picnic. They had some nice cheese sandwiches and two yellow bananas.

"Look at that little brown monkey!" said Sally. "It is climbing to the top of the tree! It is very clever."

Then, the little monkey came down and took Jane's banana from her hand!

"Hey! That is my food!" Jane loudly.

But the little monkey was very quick. It ran back to its mother and went into her to eat the banana.

Sally laughed. "It is okay, Jane," she said. "I have another banana in my bag!"

Ice skating

Ice skating is a very exciting sport. In countries, lakes have got ice on them when it snows. People put big boots and skate on the ice. They must wear a lot of clothes, a big coat and a scarf too. People in hot places can go to a sports centre to skate. At first, ice skating is difficult you can fall down. But when you learn to do it well, you can move very {quick|quicker|{@quickly}}! You can try to jump or dance with your friends too. It is a great hobby!

Jim and Sally

Last Tuesday was an exciting day for Jim and his family. A big tractor came to their old farm and took all their things to a new farm, which was on a mountain near the forest. Jim and his parents drove in their car with his sister Sally. When they got to their new house, Jim ran upstairs to his new bedroom. Jim was very happy because his new bedroom was the best room in the house. It was on the top floor and he could see the forest from his window. He took all his clothes out of the bags and put them in his new room.

Come on, Sally, let's go and look in the kitchen."

Jim opened the box very slowly and saw that there were lots of sweets and cakes inside. What a great box of treasure!
