Yesterday was Fred's birthday party. He got a fantastic new called Jack! Jack is a small, happy dog with bright eyes. This morning, Fred went for a walk with Jack and his dad. It was a sunny day, so they walked to a near their house.

Fred wanted to catch some fish, but Dad said, 'Let's sit down first.' Dad went to a shop and bought some sweet chocolate .

'Don't give your food to Jack!' Dad said. But the little dog was very naughty. He jumped up, and the food fell on the grass!

Then, Jack saw a duck. He ran to catch it but fell into the water! He came out quickly because the water was too !

'Oh no!' Fred shouted. 'He is very wet and now!'

Dad laughed and cleaned the dog with his scarf. Then they all walked home.

Sheep

Sheep are nice animals that live outside on big farms. They have got a lot of curly hair. It can be white, black, or grey. Farmers use hair to make warm sweaters, socks and hats. Sheep have got big ears and short legs, they can run very fast. They do not eat meat. They only eat green grass and love all day! Mother sheep are very nice to babies. The young sheep do not eat grass at first. They drink milk from their mothers to grow big and strong. After that, they love jumping and playing in the fields their friends.

Zoe and the picnic

On Friday afternoon, Zoe went to the market with her mother. They bought orange juice and some watermelons for the picnic in the forest. Zoe's mum said, "Do you want to buy some sausages too?" But Zoe said, "No, Mum, the children don't want to eat sausages at a picnic. Let's buy noodles and meat to make pasta." Zoe's mum said, "No, I think your uncle bought lots of burgers for the picnic."
