International organizations have been actively sending help to Vietnam to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. The World Health Organization (WHO) has been supporting Vietnam in the areas of virus testing, contact tracing, and patient care. The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has provided Vietnam with nearly 2 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has donated more than 1 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

The aim of these organizations is to help Vietnam control the spread of the virus and vaccinate as many people as possible to achieve herd immunity. These efforts are essential to protect the health of the Vietnamese population, and to promote economic recovery in the country.

Vietnam has welcomed this support from international organizations and has committed to vaccinating its entire population as soon as possible. The country has also been investing in developing its own vaccines and has approved several for emergency use.
