However, the ending is too short. Readers do not know what happens to the bicycle. Please write a longer ending and bring it to me before Friday. A Morning at the Lake
Ravi and his little sister Lena were camping by a lake with their Uncle Sam. The night before, Uncle Sam had fished from the old wooden dock. He had left his long net at the far end of it. "You can play near the water," he said that morning. "But I am washing the dishes, so please stay where I can see you."
After breakfast, Lena ran onto the dock. Ravi followed slowly. The boards creaked loudly under his shoes, and he held the railing with both hands. Halfway along, he stopped. He was afraid the old wood might break under his feet.
Suddenly, a strong wind lifted Lena's yellow hat off her head. It fell onto the water and began to float away. "My hat!" Lena cried. "Grandma made it for me!"
Ravi looked at the hat. Then he looked at the long dock in front of him. He remembered Uncle Sam's net. Ravi took a deep breath and walked to the end, one careful step at a time. He picked up the net, leaned over the water, and reached out as far as he could. On the second try, the net caught the hat.
Lena jumped up and down and hugged her brother. "You were so brave!" she said. Ravi smiled. On the way back, the creaking noise did not scare him anymore.
How did Lena's hat end up in the lake?
Why did Ravi walk to the end of the dock?
How did Ravi feel when he walked onto the dock?

Morning on Green Hill
Hana's grandfather had promised to take her to the top of Green Hill to see the sunrise. They woke up at four o'clock, when the sky was still black. Hana yawned all the way up the path. She held a flashlight. Grandpa carried a thermos of hot tea and a small blanket in his bag.
At the top, they sat on a flat rock. Hana looked east, but she could not see anything. A thick layer of clouds covered the whole sky. "Maybe we should go home," she said, pulling the blanket around her shoulders.
"Let's wait a little longer", said Grandpa. He poured some tea into the cup and gave it to her. "Last year, the clouds stayed for almost an hour. Then they opened."
So they waited. Hana counted the birds that flew past. She drank her tea slowly. She told Grandpa about her new school, and he told her about the hill when he was a boy. Soon, she forgot about the cold.
Then Grandpa pointed. "Look!" A tiny gap appeared between two clouds, and a thin line of gold light shone through it. Slowly, the gap grew wider, and the whole hilltop turned orange. Hana did not say a word. She just held the cup with both hands and kept looking.
On the way down, she asked, "Grandpa, can we come back next month?"
What did Grandpa bring in his bag?
Why did Grandpa say, "Let's wait a little longer"?
What does Hana's question at the very end show?

Read the following passage and choose the correct answer to each of the questions.
A tropical rainforest consists of four layers, providing a unique environment for various plants and animals. The tallest trees form the top layer, known as the emergent layer. Because these giant trees grow above the rest, they receive the most direct sunlight. Just below is the canopy, which creates a thick roof of leaves and branches. A wide variety of birds and monkeys live in this leafy shelter because food is easy to find. Since the canopy blocks almost all the sunlight, the areas underneath remain quite dim. In the understory, only small bushes and young trees can grow in the deep shade. Finally, the forest floor is the darkest layer. Very little light reaches the bottom, so hardly any plants can survive there. Instead, the damp ground is completely covered with dead leaves and crawling insects.
What is the passage mainly about?
Why can hardly any plants survive on the forest floor?
What can you tell about the plants in the understory?
Read the following passage and choose the correct answer to each of the questions.
Children between six and twelve years old require approximately ten hours of sleep each night to stay healthy. During sleep, the body repairs itself and grows, while the brain actively processes information gathered throughout the day. Adequate rest improves a student's memory, making it much easier to maintain focus in the classroom. Furthermore, regular sleep supports emotional balance, preventing children from becoming easily frustrated or upset.
Developing healthy sleep habits often depends on maintaining a consistent bedtime schedule. Experts also recommend turning off electronic devices, such as tablets and smartphones, at least one hour before sleeping. Bright screens can deceive the human brain by signaling that it is still daytime. Instead, engaging in a peaceful activity, like reading a book, helps children unwind and fall asleep naturally.
What is the passage mainly about?
According to the passage, what does the brain do during sleep?
What does the author suggest about electronic devices?
