Flying with Hands
There is only one mammal that can fly. How does the mammal fly? It flies with its hands! The mammal is a bat. The bones in a bat’s wings are like the bones in your arm and hand. The big difference is that the finger bones of a bat are much longer.
A bat’s wing is made of two of skin. The skin is thin, but it is very strong. The skin out between the bat’s long fingers.
