ODF - 3.11 [Self Study] Reading Assignment #2

Jill and Bill went to a mill. It was on a hill. They went to fill the pan with water. Jill put water in the pan. She put the pan to her lip. Then she had a sip.

Kip the dog ran out of the mill. "Yip, yap, yip!" said Kip. Kip ran and hit Jill. Jill tripped and fell. Jill fell into Bill. Jill and Bill fell down the hill.

Bill's hat had a rip. Jill's hip was not good. "I am ill," said Jill. "I killed my hip."

Kip felt bad. He saw that Jill was ill. He saw that Bill's hat was ripped. "Yip, yap, yip," Kip said. "I will get a doctor," he yipped.

Kip ran up the hill. He got a hat for Bill. He got Doctor Gill for Jill. Doctor Gill had a pill for Jill. "Have this pill," he said. "You will not be ill."

Jill and Bill were not mad at Kip. They were mad at Doctor Gill. They got his bill and it was big.
