Holiday with my friends

When we finished our exams, my friends and I from university all decided to go on holiday together. Our friend Jenny nearly backed out because she couldn't really afford it so we lending her the money. At first, she refused but we explained to her that we might never have this opportunity again.

We wanted a resort that had of nightlife and nice beaches. We had all studied really hard all year and so we wanted to have some fun. We chose a self-catering holiday because it was cheaper. We are using up these things so fast that the Earth's supplies may run out. Another way to protect the environment is to use canvas bags for shopping instead of plastic ones. A lot of plastic objects can also be reused. Plastic bottles can be refilled many times, rather than throwing them away once they are empty. Unwanted plastic goods such as CDs and toys can be sold or given away to charity shops.
