Hi Kate,

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share with you about the environmental clean-up event I participated in last weekend. It was truly a meaningful experience!

Firstly, we gathered at the local beach in the south of our city on Sunday morning. The beach was really dirty with various types of debris and waste. We saw plastic bottles, wrappers, and bags everywhere on the sand. Over 50 local volunteers came together to lend a hand. We collected litter and plastic waste. The government gave us gloves and garbage bags. We worked hard for about four hours. 

After we finished our work, the beach looked cleaner and more beautiful than ever before. I felt proud and happy. I'm already looking forward to the next clean-up event and can't wait to participate again.
