Maria studied abroad in France for two years. It was an amazing experience to her! She learned French and got a chance to understand a new culture. She discovered her favorite French dishes - buttery croissants and broccoli quiche! However, she found it difficult to live so far away from her family and friends. At first, Maria felt a little lonely. She missed her cat, Luna, and watching movies with her brother. Although it was hard to be away from home, Maria knew this was a great opportunity.
