Read David's blog and decide if the sentences are True or False.

Lately, things at home haven’t been easy. I’ve been having constant arguments with my parents, and it feels like they don’t respect my privacy. This lack of respect is really starting to influence my behavior. One of the biggest issues is that my parents often come into my room without knocking. I believe everyone, especially teenagers, should have their own space. It’s really frustrating when they come in unannounced and start looking through my things.

Last week, I discovered that my parents threw away some of my stuff without asking me. Among the things they tossed were my old photo albums and my personal diary. I was so upset! Those items were important to me, and they should have asked for my permission before touching them.

Another problem is that my parents often scold me without giving me a chance to explain. They just jump to conclusions and assume that I’ve done something wrong. This makes me feel like they don’t respect me or my side of the story. I believe that if they would listen to me and understand my perspective, we could avoid a lot of arguments.

All of these issues are having a big influence on how I feel about our relationship. I’ve started avoiding conversations with them because I feel like they don’t value my opinion. I don’t even feel safe in my own room anymore, as I’m constantly worried that they might rush in or throw away more of my stuff. I’ve tried talking to them, but they just brush it off and say it’s for my own good.

I wish they would respect my space and my feelings, and let me have some control over my own things.
