A. Additionally, many teens skip meals or overeat due to stress or boredom, and this also leads to weight gain.

B. Simple activities like walking, cycling, or playing with friends can make a big difference in preventing obesity.

C. Many schools have even reduced physical education classes.

D. Obesity in teenagers has become a serious issue in recent years.

Several factors contribute to this growing problem, including unhealthy eating habits and lack of physical activity.

One major cause of obesity in teenagers is poor diet. Many teenagers consume large amounts of fast food, sugary drinks, and snacks that are high in calories but low in nutrition. Teenagers often prefer these foods because they are quick, cheap, and tasty, but they do not provide the nutrients they need for a healthy body.

Another major cause of obesity is the lack of physical activity, which is often due to screen and game addiction. Many teenagers spend hours in front of screens, whether it’s watching TV, playing video games, or using their phones. This leads to less time for exercise and outdoor activities. Without enough physical activity, the body doesn’t burn the calories from the food they eat.

To solve these problems, parents and schools need to encourage teenagers to follow a healthier lifestyle. They should promote a balanced diet with more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and less junk food. It is also important to limit screen time and encourage teenagers to get more exercise by playing sports or spending time outdoors.

Write a cause-and-effect essay about a teen's social issues. Write 150-180 words.
