Hey Jane,
My family gave me some great suggestions for the trip to Tokyo that you and I are taking next year, so I wanted to tell you about them. My dad suggested we travel in March or November. He said March is perfect for cherry blossoms, while November has beautiful autumn colors. I think cherry blossoms sound magical, so I prefer going to Japan in March.
My father also said we should visit the Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace. I thought those sounded interesting, but I also wanted more exciting ideas, so I asked my sister. She suggested we go to Harajuku. She said it was full of unique shops and amazing street food. She also told me about Odaiba, where we can visit the Team Lab Borderless digital art museum.
Finally, my brother gave me some really helpful advice. He suggested we download a map app that works offline because Tokyo is huge and it is easy for us to get lost there. He also recommended bringing a reusable water bottle since there are plenty of free water refill stations around the city.
What do you think of these ideas? Have you heard about any other cool spots in Tokyo?
Speak to you soon,
Sabrina
