This information can be collected by data companies or used by online predators. Teenagers should be taught to review their privacy settings regularly and never post sensitive information like their home address or phone number.

In conclusion, while social media is a powerful tool, it is not without its dangers. However, by understanding these risks, thinking critically about online content, and taking proactive safety measures, teenagers can protect themselves and use social media in a much safer way.
