Plastic pollution is one of the most serious environmental problems today. Every year, millions of tons of plastic are thrown away. Much of this plastic ends up in our oceans, where it harms sea animals. Turtles, fish, and birds often mistake plastic for food and eat it, which can make them very sick.

The "Green Earth" group started in 2010 to help solve this problem. This organization encourages people to reduce their use of plastic. They suggest using reusable bags instead of plastic ones when going shopping. They also teach students how to recycle plastic bottles and cans.

Today, Green Earth has members in many countries. Their main goal is to protect nature and keep our environment clean. They believe that even small actions, like picking up trash on the beach, can make a big difference. They hope that in the future, the world will be free of plastic waste.

My name is Nam and my favorite hobby is cycling. My father gave me a bike for my 12th birthday. Since then, I have fallen in love with this activity. Every afternoon after school, I ride my bike around the park near my house. Sometimes, I go cycling with my best friend, Minh.

Cycling helps me stay healthy and strong. It is also a great way to enjoy the fresh air and see the beautiful scenery. Last month, Minh and I decided to join a cycling competition for teenagers in our city. We practiced very hard for three weeks. We woke up early every morning to ride 10 kilometers. On the day of the race, I was a bit nervous, but I tried my best. Luckily, I finished in third place and won a small trophy.

I think cycling is better than playing video games because it connects us with the outside world. In the future, I want to cycle to school every day to protect the environment.

Lizards

There are about 5000 different kinds of lizards in the world. Most lizards are small enough to sit on a person's hand. The biggest kind looks more like a crocodile, and is called a "Komodo Dragon". Lizards that live in trees or in the grass are usually green lizards that live in deserts are grey or yellow. Most have four legs and a long tail. Sometimes a lizard loses tail. But another one will usually grow later. Lizards have very short necks, and ears on the outside of their heads. Some people think they are ugly! Lizards see different colors and are very good at the quietest sound. They climb up trees or over rocks very quickly and some run across water too. Small lizards eat insects. Bigger lizards catch birds or other small animals to eat. A few lizards only eat plants. Lizards quickly get cold, so most live in hot countries, they can lie in the sun all day.
