Jack played the drums in the school orchestra, and he was usually very happy with his choice. There were many good things about playing the drums. Jack thought that drums made a very cool noise, and he loved having lots of different drums to play. Jack loved the "boom" of the bass drum the most, and it sounded great when he played all drums in the drum kit.
Another reason Jack loved the drums was that drumsticks were very light. He felt very sorry for saxophone players. Their instruments were very heavy. Jack only had to carry his drumsticks, and he was very happy about it.
However, being a drummer also meant listening to a lot of bad jokes. Other musicians loved to make fun of drummers. For example, just last Tuesday, Jack saw his friend Leo in the hallway at school.
"Hey Jack," said Leo. "What do you call someone that hangs around with musicians?"
"I don't know," said Jack.
"A drummer," Leo replied.
"Whatever, Leo!" said Brian. "That's not even funny". Briand thought about his drumsticks in his bag and he smiled. Leo played a cello!
What was the role of Jack in the school orchestra?
Why did Jack feel sorry for saxophone players?
Where did Jack meet his friend Leo last Tuesday?

The school regrets to announce that this year's sports day, scheduled for Friday, April 4, will not be held. According to the weather service, a severe storm front is moving into this area. It should reach our city by Thursday night, and it will remain here for a few days. The storm is expected to drop several inches of rain once it begins. The weather service also anticipates that the conditions will be ideal for tornadoes to form. Due to the seriousness of the weather, the administration has decided to put off sports day until a later time.
Once the new date is determined, the administration will announce it. It will most likely be held on April 11 or 18. We apologize for postponing the event, but, considering that most sports day activities are held outdoors, we feel that we have no choice in this matter.
Sports day was originally scheduled to last from one to three in the afternoon. Since teachers may not have prepared lesson plans for classes during that time, they may feel free to watch movies or to do other similar activities in their classes. It is not compulsory for teachers to lecture during those periods.
What would be the best title for the announcement?
According to the announcement, what will the weather be like on Friday?

Have you ever played in the snow? Do you like to make snow angels or snowmen? Have you ever had a snowball fight with your friends? If so, you know that snow is cold. You also know that it melts. You know that it is fun! But do you know why it snows in the first place?
Snow is made up of tiny ice crystals. When the air is very cold, snow may start to fall. Bits of falling snow are called snowflakes. These are just some of the snowflake shapes that have been seen. Have you seen any of them? What kind of shape does this snowflake have to you? Snowflakes are made high up in the clouds. The ice crystals inside the cloud get bigger and heavier. Then they fall from the cloud. The ice crystals run into each other. Some of them stick together and make even bigger snowflakes. Snowflakes can come in many sizes and shapes. Most have six sides. Some snowflakes look like suns. Others may look like ninja stars. Every snowflake is unique - just like people!
Snow can be soft and fluffy or it can be wet and heavy. A snowstorm can bring in a lot of snow. The biggest snowstorms are called blizzards. You should stay home during a blizzard. But don't worry. Soon the weather will warm up and the snow will melt. Then you can go outside again to play.
